I have been told I have been assigned to a project, but I am unable to locate it in my account.

Please check your email for project assignment information. You may have been assigned to the project under a different user ID. If you cannot find the email from donotrely@lcptracker.com, follow up with the person who set you up to confirm the assignment details. You can also contact Support so they can assist in getting you in touch with someone that can help.
