Apprentice Reports - Apprentice Hours Report by Contractor

Report Descriptionthis report categorizes all hours, both journeyman and apprentice, worked by specific contractors as chosen by the report parameters. It includes the below values on the report:

  • Journeyman hours and totals
  • Apprentice hours and totals
  • Ratio % (apprentice hours/total hours*100)
  • Goal %
  • Goal hours


Preconditions: for goal percentage to calculate, Apprentice % Goal needs to be entered under Set Up > Add/Edit Project



Parameters: 

With laborer hours: possibly considered unskilled or an un-apprenticeable craft, so may skew numbers. This is important to note in California.

Show craft detail: displays classification breakdown of crafts selected.

Standard hours only: choosing “true” will account for all hours worked, including overtime and double time. Choosing “false” will only include the number of hours listed as straight time during project setup.

  

Calculation Descriptions: 

  • Ratio % is calculated as (apprentice hours / total hours) *100. (Totals are apprentice hours + journeyman hours.)
  • Goal hours are calculated based on the Goal % multiplied by the journeyman hours worked. If goal was not met, required hours will be listed in red. If goal was met, hours will be listed in black
