Configurable Project field enhancement:
We are introducing a new feature that allows case investigators/compliance officers to efficiently manage project information within the application based on the selected case type. This enhancement includes a configurable account settings page where laws can be associated with the LCPtracker Pro Projects association. To start the Moderator of the account will need to adjust the laws set up page if the account uses the LCPtracker Pro project synchronization. If your account does not use this function this function will not be available to you and can continue to use the Project Name (other) field as usual.
Where to access:
- Accessible only by the account Moderator:
- Account Setting: Go to the gear shift icon at top right of application.
- Law and Law groups tile: Section handles all the law, and law group configurations
- Select any law you want your account to associate with the LCPtracker Pro project synchronization. Meaning, when a user selects a Law on the Case Record, they expect the LCPtracker Pro projects to be available to select from (as an association) when the law is identified.
- Select the Edit button
- Edit Law prompt: Check the box that states, “Check this box if you want to link this law to your LCPtracker Projects.”
- Click Save.
- Edit all other laws one by one as needed.
What you will encounter:
- Automatic Population of a project sync from LCPtracker Pro:
- For Laws associated with the sync process, the Project field will automatically populate with projects retrieved from LCPtracker via the daily synchronization.
- These projects will be selectable from a Drop-down list.
- All Laws without the check box will be identified as a law that does not require the association of an LCPtracker project. Thereby, only showing the defaulted field, “Project (other).”
- Manual Entry: if the selected Law does not apply to a sync process (no check for the law in the Settings page), a single text field will be displayed on the case record, allowing the investigator/compliance Officer to manually enter project information. This field will accept any characters and allow up to 180 characters.
This enhancement ensures that project information is accurately managed and displayed based on the selected case type, improving efficiency and reducing errors. Compliance Officers can now easily select or enter project information, ensuring that all data is correctly stored and retrieved when needed.
