1. How does a user log an email or activity pertaining to a Case Manager’s case?

    Using the Email Forwarding functionality.

2. Do Case Manager users have access to all cases?

No, not in all cases; access depends on determined User Role and Permissions.

3. Can I access Case Manager using User Portal?

User Portal is the only way to access Case Manager applications.

4. Do I have to add an Employer before I can add a Case, or can I do it within the same process?

You must first add a Law (1) associated with the case, then an Origin (how the User becomes aware of

the case), then Claim overview (any comments/description) and, lastly, select Save.

Once the case is saved, then the User can move on and add other components of the case.

5. Can I create a Case for a specific Law Group if I have not set up a Law?

No. You can only create a case under the law group you are assigned to.

6. Do you need LCPtracker to utilize Case Manager?

No, it is not necessary to purchase LCPtracker to utilize Case Manager.

Case Manager is an independent product, and it also has the capability to synchronize data from LCPtracker for efficient data creation.

7. Can we enter private Projects?

Yes, if a case utilizes private construction projects, the project name can be manually added to the Project Name (Other) field.

8. What kind of attachments can I upload? Is there a limit?

There is an attachment size limitation of 20 mgs, and we only allow formats of jpeg, word, excel, pdfs.

9. Can you continue making edits to Linked Cases that are outside of my Law Group?

A user that links a case to another case, because it may have the same employer, etc., can only view as read-only on the activity tab of the case. It works that way on either side. They cannot get into a case that is not there.

10. Do all user roles have access to all reporting?

All Case Manager users can access Reporting, regardless of their roles. User application permissions will follow based on how they access Reporting.
