How does a user forward an email or log an activity pertaining to the application, LCP CaseView’s case?

Using Email forwarding functionality is made very simple to do using the settings in your Email account. Please follow the directions in the Email Functionality Guide.


To logg an activity within the case, Open the case, go to the Activity Tab and you will be able to add a milestone or any activity that has transpired regarding the case.  


Do LCP CaseView users have access to all cases?

No, not in all cases. Access depends on your user role and permissions.


Can I access LCP CaseView using User Portal?

User Portal is the only way to access LCP CaseView application.


Do I have to add an Employer before I add a Case or can I do it within the same process?

You must first add a law (1) associated with the case, then an Origin (how the user become aware of the case), then Claim overview (any comments/description), and lastly, select save.


Once the case is saved then the user can move on and add other components of the case.


Can I create a Case for a specific Law Group even though I have not setup a Law?

You can only create a case under the law group you are assigned to.


Do you need LCPtracker to utilize LCP CaseView?

No, it is not necessary purchase LCPtracker to utilize LCP CaseView.


LCP CaseView is an independent product, and it also has the capability to sync data from LCPtracker for efficient data creation.


Can we enter private Projects?

Yes, if a case utilizes private construction projects, the project name can be manually added to the project name (other) field.


What kind of attachments can I upload? and is there a limit?

There is an attachment size limitation of 20 mgs, and we only allow formats of jpeg, word, excel, pdfs.


Can you continue making edits to Linked cases that are outside of my Law Group?

Any user that links a case to another case because it may have the same employer and other related information can only view as read-only the activity tab of the case. It works that way on either side. They cannot get into a case that is not there.          


Do all user roles have access to all reporting? 

All LCP CaseView users can access reporting regardless of their roles. User application permissions will follow based on how they access reporting.
