Release Highlights
This VantagePoint update gives agencies more control over how contract and subcontract records are categorized, it makes it easier to manage users, and it streamlines vendor onboarding for vendors without a formal tax ID.
Flexible Contract & Category Setup
- Contract Department, Contract Type, and Category values on subcontract records can now be customized to match how your organization works.
- A new Custom Categories capability provides a consistent way to manage these list values going forward.
Why this matters
- Removes the need to work within a fixed, one-size-fits-all list of options.
- It lets your agency's terminology and structure be reflected directly in VantagePoint.
Easier User Management
- The Users tab now includes an Active column, a filter for active/inactive users, and checkboxes for easy selection.
Why this matters
- Makes it faster to see user status at a glance.
- Supports taking action on multiple users at once instead of one at a time.
Smoother Vendor Onboarding
- Vendors without a formal tax ID can now be onboarded using a system-generated, VP-prefixed placeholder ID that is recognized by validation.
Why this matters
- Reduces onboarding delays for vendors who do not have a tax ID on file when importing is in use.
- Keeps vendor records consistent and valid across the system.
